This is a service offered to you for peace of mind. You never know what can/will/may happen to your order once it is in transit. Route provides protection against lost, stolen, missing, and even damaged items! They make it simple to file claims through them and are quick to get a resolution too!
I highly recommend keeping the Route Protection on your order. If you do not pay for the Route protection, any and all claims will have to go through USPS directly.
